Fire Damage Didn't 'Soot' These Walls

Get it? Here at SERVPRO of Hermitage/Donelson, we enjoy terrible puns almost as much as we enjoy serving our community.
Following a damaging fire, all of the concrete block walls in this apartment were covered in a thick layer of black soot. We don't feel soot and fire damage suits any dwelling, so we decided to remove it.
In this photo, you can see the stark difference between the cleaned area and the remaining affected areas. With the right chemicals, meticulous cleaning methods, and a little bit of elbow grease, we were able to get this seemingly destroyed structure back to habitable conditions within just a few days.
